Pre-Production

Discovery
The first step to any project is to determine what success looks like. I research market trends, discover experience precedent, and lead client kick-off meetings that define the design, behavior and scope goals of a project.

Concept
The concept phase is about leading a team through creative brainstorming, quick prototyping, and consensus building to determine the parameters of the project. These activities are documented for client presentations, internal communications and marketing materials. 

Production

Kick-Off
During this short phase talent is onboarded, deliverable expectations are set and client feedback from the concept phase is integrated. It’s a good thing we have all that documentation from the concept phase!​
 
Prototype
I am a huge fan of the prototype phase as it’s a fun moment to test all the assumptions of the concept phase. Understanding the core gameplay interaction and systems through iterative prototyping, play testing, and R&D results in a stronger design and a streamlined development process. 
 
Alpha/Beta/Gold
I respect the traditional alpha, beta, gold development cycle as it supports clear tasks, goals and structured stakeholder approvals. it has been my experience, however, that the deliverables for each differ dependent on the project. I am used to adapting to the project needs in determining deliverables and setting expectations for each stage of development.
 
Positive Attitude 
I believe that the two most important tenets of collaboration are to resepect expertise and do great work. 
Beyond stellar design skills, I bring energy and enthusiasm to every project. Here's just a little preview of what it would be like to work together.
